Are you ready for action?

Last meeting we got A LOT accomplished! We had our morality discussion and actually had some great ideas floating around. Good ol' Bob!***
Friday, February 12, we are going to...the City Museum!! Bring your flashlights! Or walk around aimlessly in the dark. We're meeting at the Lucker's at 7:00p.m. so don't be late! The next meeting will be held in Michelle's van on the way to City Museum. The museum is open until 1:00a.m. Let's see how long we'll actually last!
Our upcoming outreach project is for Charity Waters. Charity Waters is an organization that digs freshwater wells in Africa. Children there walk miles on end to get water everyday. And even then, it's polluted and dirty. We will be hosting a band concert for our cause and we need to come up with a nifty name. Megan is leading this project! Good job!
We are also considering other activities for this cause ie: walk-a-thon, selling bracelets that fit onto your shoes, etc. Check your e-mail for updates and for any 'help calls' that Megan may send out. Be ready to help! For more info on Charity Waters go to http://www.charitywaters.org/
I have been talking to a woman, Vera Bojic, at Lewis and Clark Community College. She has workshops coming up and a project during the summer that we can help with. I am in the process of getting more information now. Sorry it's so vague now, but I feel the same way!
We also may be getting some new members soon! A group in Alton (Teen Advisory Council) is wanting to start up Venturing. I have invited them to come join us so if there are any strangers at the meetings, give 'em a big ol' Venturing welcome!
So remember:
-Charity Waters Concert Name
-Crew Name ( Or are we all cool with being the Bucks?)

Please contact anyone if you have any questions...or Bob will get you.

Julianna
